Foreign Shipping Instructions
Contact us before your items are ready to be shipped
When shipping animal skins, horns and antlers back to the USA, most of the time they will have to be imported into a USDA approved facility. We are that facility. We make it as inexpensive and as easy as it can possibly be. Some places especially Africa will try to convince you to mount your trophies there. This all takes place because of money kickbacks. Problems involved in this for you are that you have zero control of your mounts. The shipping cost estimate they give you will cost at least 3 times more. We have seen a damage rate of over 80% on mounts shipped from foreign countries. Some hunters never even receive their own trophies. These problems cannot be solved with a taxidermist in a country thousands of miles away. They also try to convince you that they are better at mounting animals from their own country. The problem is that most of the employees have never hunted or seen up close any of the animals they are mounting. They also have a huge employee turn over and you never know if the person mounting your animals is on his first day.
Your trophies will be delivered by your outfitter to a dip pack company or a Taxidermy shop. Then arrangements are made after processing to ship your horns and skins back home. You need to give them the following information:
They have to go to a broker first. We use only one. They are half the money of all other brokers and have never made a mistake with permits etc. in 10 years of using them.
